My academic journey
My path to clinical mental health began with a Bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology, with an emphasis in Human Services, from Oregon Institute of Technology in 2015. Currently, I am a dedicated graduate student in my third year at Grand Canyon University, deeply immersed in the clinical mental health program, focusing on practicum and internship experiences.

A foundation in compassionate care
As a Counselor in Training (CIT), I have developed a clinical foundation specializing in solution-focused therapy, and various forms of talk therapy. My approach is client-centered, promoting empathy, congruence, and autonomy to reshape negative thoughts and feelings into positive, actionable insights. I advocate for affordable care, free from discrimination.

Driving principles & future impact
My work is guided by core values of authenticity, integrity, respect, inclusiveness, honesty, and congruence. My career goal is to become a private practitioner, specializing in trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depressive disorders. I am passionate about incorporating suicide prevention and helping individuals identify their self-worth and passions.
"The right to affordable, inclusive care that empowers every individual to discover their self-worth and passions."
