My academic journey

My path to clinical mental health began with a Bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology, with an emphasis in Human Services, from Oregon Institute of Technology in 2015. Currently, I am a dedicated graduate student in my third year at Grand Canyon University, working my way through the clinical mental health program, focusing on practicum and internship experiences at this point in time.

A foundation in compassionate care

As a Counselor in Training (CIT), I have developed a clinical foundation specializing in solution-focused therapy, and various forms of talk therapy. My approach is client-centered, promoting empathy, congruence, and autonomy to reshape negative thoughts and feelings into positive, actionable insights. I advocate for affordable care, free from discrimination.

Driving principles & future impact

My work is guided by core values of authenticity, integrity, respect, inclusiveness, honesty, and congruence. My career goal is to become a private practitioner, specializing in trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depressive disorders. I am passionate about incorporating suicide prevention and helping individuals identify their self-worth and passions.

"The right to affordable, inclusive care that empowers every individual to discover their self-worth and passions."
